Giving mom breakfast in bed on Mother's Day might be a bit of a challenge for some of us. Either we're not great cooks, or we don't have a large enough bed tray (though I'm sure mom doesn't care). When it comes to dining out for breakfast in Dexter, one restaurant continues to dominate among customers. In our "Readers' Choice" contest, nine voters cast their ballots for the restaurant that was best suited for breakfast/brunch in Dexter. Alpha Coney Island is known for its breakfast, lunch and dinner specials, but the service staff says breakfast by far is the most popular among customers. "Everyone always comments on how good the breakfast is here," Andrea Bedolla said. Bedolla has been working at the restaurant for the past two years and said she enjoys the friendly atmosphere.
