Encore Theatre Announces Star-Studded Fifth Season Line-Up
The Dexter musical theater will open its fifth season Feb. 5, 2013 with "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat."
The Encore Musical Theatre Company will begin its fifth season February 2013. “Our vision is for this to be a season of favorites – shows that people hold close to their hearts and love to sing along to," Dan Cooney, producing artistic director said. "We want our audiences to come out of each show with a huge smile on their face.” Encore’s fifth season will begin with a well-loved favorite: Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat starring country pop group SIR3N (Madison Deadman, Bryana Dorfman, and Megan Casey) as the narrators. Written by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Time Rice, it was the duo's first musical to be performed publicly on Broadway in 1982.
