Suspects Steal Two Air Conditioning Units from Scio Township Business

On Dec. 4, deputies with the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office responded to the 400 block of Little Lake Drive in Scio Township following a complaint that two free-standing air conditioning units were removed from the business. No further information is available. Property Damage Fraud On Nov. 27, a Dexter woman received a phone call with prefix 876 advising that she had won $1 million, but had to purchase green dot cards to offset some of the charges. An unknown individual advised the woman that he would drop off the money and pick up the cards. The woman purchased $705 worth of green dot cards. The unknown individual called the following week advising that he would be delayed by one day and asked the victim to give him the serial numbers…
