Thanks to dozens of generous donations, Patch has raised $4,698 so far through our Patch Fights Hunger online food drive, supporting Gleaners Community Food Bank. Our goal is to raise $10,000 to feed families throughout southeast Michigan. This virtual food drive runs through Saturday, Nov. 24, and is the first for the Gleaners Community Food Bank. Patch Fights Hunger, a fundraiser for Gleaners Community Food Bank, runs through Nov. 24.
Thanks to dozens of generous donations, Patch has raised $3,276 through our Patch Fights Hunger online food drive, supporting Gleaners Community Food Bank. Of the donations made so far, $178 has come from Dexter Patch readers—the fifth highest of the 30 Patch communities in southeast Michigan. Our goal is to raise $10,000 to feed families throughout southeast Michigan. This virtual food drive runs through Sunday, Nov. 24, and is the first for the Gleaners Community Food Bank. We want to give more to Gleaners Community Food Bank this holiday season. Shop our virtual food drive by Nov. 25 to join the fight.
The season of giving isn't over yet—so why should our Patch Fights Hunger virtual food drive end so soon? As such, we've extended our drive supporting Gleaners Community Food Bank until Nov. 25. On Thanksgiving, a day when every American family gives thanks for the things in their life, most of us will enjoy a feast with our families. But there are still many people who don't have enough to eat—including one out of every four children. Gleaners distributes 100,000 meals each day to hungry people in southeast Michigan, and we want to help them with their goal by raising $10,000 through the Patch Fights Hunger online food drive. Ninety-four cents of every dollar you donate goes directly toward feeding hungry people in your own communities. …
