The maize and blue colors of the University of Michigan will adorn the halls at Dexter United Methodist Church for the church's fifth annual Super Bowl Breakfast on Feb. 2. The free event is presented by both the church and the nonprofit group, Athletes in Action. This year’s program includes a simulcast video featuring former Green Bay Packers quarterback Bart Starr and other NFL players and coaches. Former U-M football player Jerry Mader will also speak on the subject of mentoring. Participants can talk sports while enjoying a gourmet breakfast provided by local caterer Frank Schramm. College sports fans will get a rare opportunity to exchange stories with rivals from the University of Michigan and Michigan State University's baseball teams in Dexter on Feb. 4. Coaches and team members will headline the Dexter United Methodist Church’s fourth annual Super Bowl Breakfast. The free event is presented by both the church and the nonprofit group, Athletes in Action. Aptly titled "Rivals Unite," the event will feature several guest speakers including MSU baseball coach Jake Boss, Jr. and U-M baseball coach Rich Maloney.
