Michael Makin, Neighbor

Michael Makin is a resident of Dexter Township and a faculty member at the University of Michigan.  A Slavist, he is the author of scholarly books on the poets Marina Tsvetaeva and Nikolai Klyuev. He is also the father of three sons active in local sports.  He has served as the Information Director of Michigan Cricket Academy (http://micricketacademy.wordpress.com/) and Secretary of the Michigan Cricket Association (http://www.michca.org/michca/home.aspx).  Makin's wife, Alina (also a faculty member at the University of Michigan) tolerates the household sports overload with resignation.
