Apple Daze Returns to Dexter This Weekend

The annual event starts at 10 a.m. Saturday.

The sixth annual Dexter Lions Club Apple Daze Festival will take place at Dexter's Monument Park on Saturday.

The family-friendly event will be held from 10 a.m.- 5 p.m. and will feature food, games, craft booths and more.

Live entertainment will be provided from 12-3 p.m. in the gazebo featuring Nucleus playing 70s and 80s music.

Central Street will be closed from Main to Fifth from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m. Oct. 5 for the celebration, according to the Village of Chelsea web site.

Traditional antiques shown by area antique enthusiasts is a new feature to the festival this year, according to an article in the Dexter Leader.
